Eating for me was always a job. It was either something I had control over, or I lost control over and found myself over-eating and bingeing. My moods were equally as chaotic and I was feeling less and less confident and happy about myself. And the less confident I felt the more I turned to food.

What you really want is to feel satisfied with your eating, and knowing that you are looking after yourself without feeling deprived.


In a word: BALANCE. You have goals when it comes to eating and they could be about weight loss, being nourished and healthy. But at the same time you often seek comfort in food, and you then eat in a way that seems to go against what you want to acheive.
